• VO2 Max
The VO2max is one of the best indicators of an athlete’s overall fitness level. Using this information, the staff at E1P will develop a specific program designed to improve your anaerobic fitness. Knowing your vo2max will help any athlete reach their peak performance.

VO2max is a measure of your body’s ability to oxygenate blood. During any physical activity, an athlete’s muscles will require oxygen to be replenished. As you breath, your heart oxygenates your blood which then carries the oxygen rich blood to depleted muscles. The higher the rate at which this occurs the faster and longer an athlete will be able to perform. Improving your VO2max is one the many ways E1P will help you reach your maximum performance.
  • Body Composition (BodPod)
Your body composition results show just how a fitness program is transforming your body. Fitness training is more than weight lost or weight gained on a scale. Body composition scanning will show just how much lean muscle an athlete has added as well as the reduction in adipose tissue.

E1P is proud to offer body composition analysis using the BodPod. The BodPod is an Air Displacement Plethysmograph which uses whole-body densitometry to determine body composition. This method is extremely accurate and accessible to children and adults. The BodPod provides reliable and accurate results about the composition of an athlete’s body.
  • Resting Metabolic Rate

Your resting metabolic rate is the minimum number of calories your body needs each day to sustain the minimum systems necessary to support life. Once your RMR is recorded, E1P’s staff can tailor a specific diet that will safely meet the dietary needs of your body and allow for optimum weight loss. Using your RMR as a reference, your E1P training will provide you with results you could not reach on your own.
  • Athletic Ability Assessment
No matter what your sport is, every athletic competition can be broken down to basic movements of the human body: how high you can jump, how fast you can run or how much weight you can lift.

Each sport requires athletes to complete multiple actions throughout the course of the event. These actions or movements represent the basic motions or movements of the human body. Measuring these basic movements allows the staff at E1P to measure an athletes strengths and weaknesses in their foundation movements. From there, the athletes training program will include areas that will improve these basic foundation movements leading to better performance on the field or during the athletes future events.
